Historic Preservation Ordinance

The Beverly Hills City Council adopted a Historic Preservation Ordinance in 2012 as a way to honor, protect, and preserve the most exceptional properties in Beverly Hills.  Through a series of public meetings, the Planning Commission and Cultural Heritage Commission crafted a comprehensive update to this Ordinance in 2014-15.  The City Council adopted the revised Historic Preservation Ordinance on July 21, 2015.  The Ordinance was most recently amended on February 16, 2016, with four follow-up items to the July 2015 update.

The full text of the Ordinance is accessible in the Beverly Hills Municipal Code, Title 10 Chapter 3, Article 32 and 32.5
